HighSchool Football Team Forfeits All Games???

The Grady Grey Knights have been forced to forfeit all 11 games of their previous season.

Due to the actions of Coach Ronie Millen and some devious student athletes parents in address fraud the GHSA has forced Grady High school to forfeit all eleven games therefor ending their almost record breaking 11 winning seasons in a row. What does this mean you might ask? This means that their previous season record is now 0 wins and 11 loses. And Grady high school cannot participate in any post or playoff games in the 2014 season. This also means their record is destroyed and the school has been fined a cost of 1000 dollars.

Highschool student athlete rules state that a 10th grader up too a Senior does not have student athlete approval to play in out of region games but a freshman does. So if a non-approved player participated in a game then the entire team must forfeit the game.

11-year-old football player dons a tie to honor team's water boy

Childhood apraxia of speech makes it difficult for 6-year-old Danny Keefe to talk, but the 6-year-old from Bridgewater, Mass., has an infectious personality and he certainly has style — he wears a suit and necktie every day, by choice. Still, his problems forming words and those threads can make him an easy target for cruel barbs from unthinking kids, but he’s not without friends. One of them is Tommy Cooney, quarterback on the Badgers Div. 5 Peewees, for whom Danny serves as “official water coach.” So the fifth grader put on a suit himself and launched “Danny Appreciation Day” at school, and no fewer than 40 other students joined in. “He’s such a good person,” said Tommy. “He doesn’t let it bother him. He goes on with his day. He’s a 6-year-old kid. We should all respect that.” Danny certainly appreciated all his fellow sharp dressers. “This is the best day ever,” he said
